Never heard of the Uniwell brand, but had what they call Rosebud, which is a POS for the floral industry. POS operates from your cash register or computer that is attached to cash drawer. It keeps your reciepts by catagory for each sale, every day. Other than for inventory, if you set up your catagories correctly, it can tell you what your hot items are and what time of the year certain items sell. This helps you buy the correct items at the right time in the right amounts. You may have some items that sell well starting in June, thru Sept that you thought were only selling good in July! You can see trends in your sales. It also can show you what lines to drop. Best thing is at the end of the year. If you have been diligent thru the year, you just run your profit and loss and a few others for taxes, and “boom” you are ready to file. Much easier than going thru the file drawer or shoebox. It is a big decision for a small business, but can be a smart one. Find someone who is using a POS system now, and ask to see what kind of detail and reports you get and how easy it is to use. There are plenty out there, do your homework and I’ll bet you will find one that fits your needs. Good luck
