I have a small boy who is becoming interested in digital photography. I have decided to purchase a digital video camera to occupy him during the holidays. One of the models that has been getting good reviews is the Vivitar DVR 530 camcorder. It seems that the setup is ideal for a kid. My concern is more to do with how robust these cameras are as opposed to functionality. My boy is quite rough on his stuff so I need to make sure that the camera is fairly robust. That way I will know that the camera won’t break in the first few days of use.
