    Be your own boss. Develop & use your sales skills by buying wholesale & selling on ebay or craigslist & locally.

    No joke here, but getting a new and better paying job will require you to use those skills in “selling” yourself to that new employer.

    Perhaps you could use your retail sales experience to move into direct sales or another type of sales such as automobiles. Good sales people are always in demand. Auto sales people earn a good paycheck.
