The cell phone has very quickly become a necessity in the world of instant communication. I can see why most parents consider their children must have one but from the child's point of view it is merely a fashion statement. Although the cell phone boom may not have been expected to this degree, the manufacturers have been very quick to improve the cell phone beyond all recognition to what it once was. Land based phones may not have a bright future unless they can incorporate more of a cell phones functions. In an attempt to make each persons phone distinctly their own, cellular phone wallpapers, or backgrounds, have been developed.

So what if you want to change the wallpaper on your phone; well all you have to do is look on the internet as there are plenty of web sites dedicated to it.  You can see many advertisements on websites like Classical Tunes,  Download MP3 Ringtones for Cellulars  Phones: musical phrases etc. etc.  Now, using the cell phones own camera, images can be used as wallpaper and even sent to other phones. If you prefer you can use an image you have captured previously on your own digital camera but the process takes a little longer to install.

You may even add texts to the pictures to add distinctness to your wallpaper as cellular phone wallpapers are merely used to add beauty and personality to your cell phone. However, if your cellular phone does not support uploading backgrounds, do not despair, this does not mean you will not get the benefits of owning a cell phone. Still, even if your model cannot accept new screen backgrounds, it may well accept ring tones which will give you that personal touch. Still, if you only want to make calls and send SMS messages then none of this will matter to you.

Text messages are a prime example of this because you can send one without anything else being needed. I never favor form ahead of function and this is just as true with my cell phone because as long as it does what it is supposed to do I am happy as the rest is just dressing. Try to bear in mind that not everyone is interested in your life and conversations so as a final point try to think of others when you use your phone. Many people will judge you by how you use your cell phone as it shows what type of person you are.

Turning off your phone when you are in a meeting for example, shows respect for those that are also there. You may even get the respect from other users if you respect them they will not use their phone without thinking in situations that may annoy you. Respect and good telephone etiquette are a way to show others by example and should lead or shame them into doing the same.
